St. Pauls Garden Club
Learning and Growing Together
Each month that we meet for garden club we offer members and guests a chance to practice their floral arrangement designs. We choose a theme for the arrangement to be made and brought to the meetings to share with everyone. We use a “flower show” guide for discussing the arrangements and award small ribbons.
This is done casually and in the spirit of learning, not as a competing event. This has helped many members and guests develop a better understanding of the requirements asked for in a “Standard Flower Show” We also bring in interesting horticulture to share.
Members have also brought in extra plants, seeds, and old garden books to share at meetings. We also have a horticulture tip or two, this part of our meetings are always fun and informative.
Meetings are typically on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 11AM
