Field Trip March 9th 2022
We took a trip to Rosebank Farms!
The Rosebank Farms produce stand is an icon to residents and visitors of Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, and Johns Island. The stand is owned by Sidi Limehouse, a legendary icon himself with deep Lowcountry roots it's the perfect place to stop for locally grown produce, fresh seafood, packaged goods, fresh flowers, and beautiful Hydrangea plants. March 9th. St Paul's garden club traveled to the farm. On our visit to the farm, we learned about the care and propagation of the Hydrangea bush. Sidi's long-time partner Louise Bennett is a retired school teacher who drives the business. Ms. Bennett tenderly cares for flower seedlings and plants. They shared a lot of gardening information with us and we took home beautiful Hydrangea plants.
