Veterans Day Dedication Ceremony

On November 11, 2022 a memorial garden with a flag pole, and USA flag was dedicated at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Hollywood, S. C.

The garden and flag were placed here to honor our veterans that bravely served our country. All branches of the military were honored. The ceremony was attended by church members , veterans, garden club members, community members, and our District 116 House Representative, Matt Leber.

St. Paul’s Garden Club partnered with Pastor Kevin Stroop to create a circle garden planted with red drift roses, snap dragons and white pansies, to honor the red, white, and blue, of our flag. A memorial plaque was placed near the flagpole, that reads:

DEDICATED TO THE MEN

AND WOMEN WHO SERVED

IN THE ARMED FORCES

A reception followed the dedication in the church hall.
